About calling barred owls, this owl lives on my friends property that is super close to my back yard, (we live in the mountains near western Maryland) and EVERY SINGLE TIME we call for him he shows up :D we named him Earl because when he hoots he looks like a grumpy old man XD i bought this owl call a couple weeks ago, and it calls them in every time http://canecreekcalls.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=16 but it takes alot of practice to master.
and we are on the search for great horned owls, a couple days ago we heard one, that lead us to two, then they called in the third one, and they all called in the fourth freakin great horned owl, it was the most amazing thing to hear, we saw them flying but no pictures :( but im determined to get pictures of them ! :D

OH LORD I NEED ONE. I HAVE LIKE, FIVE IN MY BACKYARD AND I CAN’T GET NEAR THEM BECAUSE THEY FLY AWAY EVERY TIME I TRY. xD
